A Princess at the Montpelier Center’s Farmers Market

April Michelle Davis and her young adult book A Princess in Disguise were featured on August 23, 2018, at the Montpelier Center’s Farmers Market. She personalized the book, entertained questions about her book, shared the book’s special message, and chatted about the publishing process.

Book Synopsis: On the night of her sixteenth birthday and before her father has the chance to force her to marry a complete stranger, Princess Margaret sneaks away from the riches and safety of the palace. Torn between her fate and freedom, Princess Margaret desperately goes looking for her mother as the answer. In a quest of soul searching and physical hardship, the twist of events may take the readers by surprise, instilling a piece of the story in their hearts.

April Michelle is not only an author, she is also an editor, proofreader, and indexer. April Michelle enjoys attending and participating in writers’ conferences and workshops and helping writers with their literary pursuits. She often speaks at association meetings, writers’ groups, conferences, and colleges about writing and editing. April Michelle takes this honor seriously and pays it forward by sharing her knowledge with others. In addition, she has won writing contests, and books she has edited have won awards as well.
