April Michelle Davis at Friends of the Shockoe Hill Cemetery Book Fair

April Michelle Davis and her young adult book A Princess in Disguise were showcased at second the Friends of the Shockoe Hill Cemetery Book Fair on December 1, 2018. The book fair was housed at the Crossroads Art Center in Richmond, Virginia. The venue was very fitting; the craft of writing amidst an array of handmade items to include paintings, jewelry, and pottery.

Book Synopsis:

On the night of her sixteenth birthday and before her father has the chance to force her to marry a complete stranger, Princess Margaret sneaks away from the riches and safety of the palace. Torn between her fate and freedom, Princess Margaret desperately goes looking for her mother as the answer.
